Explore now. Decide later. 14 days of full Pro access. No commitment.

Open. Tap. Train.

The Wahoo app knows where your training stands, so every recommendation has a reason. Tap the workout, do the work, and it lands in your history. No planning, no guesswork, no homework.

Today’s session is already picked, with the reason it’s the right one.

Targets, duration, and intent are prescribed up front. Just tap the workout and the work begins.

The work runs itself and lands in your history when you’re done, updating your profile for future efforts.

Cycling

Structured workouts built through Wahoo Sports Science drive every experience, from studio-style sessions to full-immersion rides with real race footage. Every target set by your 4DP profile, so the targets match your goals and fitness.

Running

Structured sessions for runners and multisport athletes, targeted to your 3DP profile. Built to push past plateaus that may have been holding you back.

Strength

Bodyweight-based strength work designed for endurance athletes. No gym required, no bulk agenda. Just the strength and flexibility required to meet your particular pursuits.

Yoga

Focused and fluid sessions built specifically for people who ride and run. Flexibility, recovery, and injury prevention in a format short enough that you’ll actually do it.

Swimming

Sessions to sharpen technique and build open-water confidence, rounding out the multisport picture.

Made to measure.

Every workout targets your numbers. Not a generic zone, not an average. Two athletes can do the same session and never do the same work.

Frequently asked questions

How SYSTM fits with the Wahoo App, your subscription, and the rest of your training.

About SYSTM

What's the difference between SYSTM and the Wahoo App?

Wahoo SYSTM provides the training itself: periodized plans, guided video workouts, and testing that sets your targets. The Wahoo App records simple indoor or outdoor sessions, manages your devices, and tracks your fitness over time. Both run on one Wahoo account, and SYSTM is included with a Pro subscription.

Zwift and SYSTM serve different purposes, and many riders subscribe to both. Zwift is a virtual world for riding and racing alongside other people. SYSTM provides a structured training plan with scheduled workouts built toward a specific goal, and prescribed targets for each session. Connect your accounts and ride your SYSTM structured workouts in the virtual worlds of Zwift.

SYSTM grew out of The Sufferfest and still includes that library, but the platform now offers considerably more. Plans and workout targets are scaled to your tested ability, so a beginner plan uses beginner-level targets and the intensity you see reflects your own numbers.

No. Cycling is the core, but SYSTM includes running and swimming workouts and multisport plans for triathletes and duathletes, plus off-bike strength, yoga, mobility, and mental training built into the plans rather than tacked on.

Equipment & training

Do I need a smart trainer for SYSTM?

A smart trainer is recommended but not required. With one, SYSTM controls your resistance automatically in ERG mode. Without one, you can follow the same workouts using heart rate or perceived effort as your guide.

Yes. SYSTM controls any standard smart trainer over Bluetooth or ANT+ and pairs with third-party heart rate monitors and power meters. Wahoo hardware isn’t required.

Plans are built around the time you actually have, typically starting near three to four sessions a week. When you set up a plan you specify your available days and hours, and it builds to that constraint.

You can move sessions and resume the plan. Missing a single session does not invalidate the training block.

Yes. Workouts sync with an alternate outdoor version to your ELEMNT bike computer, so a prescribed session can be ridden on the road with your targets on the screen.
