A newly designed internal frame offers the wearer even greater safety. Seamless technology connects the upper and lower shell sections, giving the helmet a refined and elegant look and improved aerodynamics. The new OCTOFIT+ adjustment system optimizes the helmet’s comfort and stability, while a vertical stabilizer in the neck area provides ergonomic support and ensures better balance and a customized fit. The large adjustment dial features a special rubber coating for improved grip, and the reflective insert at the rear enhances safety. The inner padding is made of CoolMax® material, which is not only comfortable but also quick-drying, removable, and washable. Like all KASK helmets, the Protone Icon was developed according to the KASK ROTATIONAL IMPACT WG11 TEST standard, an objective, scientific approach to measuring helmet performance in various types of rotational impacts.
TECHNOLOGIES
The new over injected rubber dial provides improved finger grip. The vertical stabiliser has been redesigned for greater stability providing a customised fit for riders with longer hair. The ergonomic neck support ensures a fast and secure fit against the back of the head.
The an allergic and washable chinstrap is extremely comfortable and helps to avoid irritation of the skin.
The tridimensional 3D DRY padding utilizes a multi-layer open cell construction process: high technology for the best comfort and performance.
Removable and washable inner padding in Coolmax® material
The innovative inner strengthening frame offers a greater mechanical strength and a better compactness. In case of shock it prevents the helmet from breaking into many pieces, allowing greater safety for every rider.
High visibility stickers for maximum safety even in poor visibility conditions
The MIT Technology guarantees higher head safety with complete polystyrene protection thanks to the polycarbonate layer that covers the shell on the top, on the base ring, and on the back.
